What’s New At Frances Mack Intermediate School?

At Frances Mack Intermediate School in Gaston, SC, students are making a nature trail for the use of students for years to come. We will be working on it from May 11th through May 28th. We are looking for any local businesses that are willing and able to donate any lumber, hardware (nails, bolts, shovels, rakes), bird baths, flowers, etc. If you are interested in donating call Frances Mack Intermediate School at

(803) 794-8369

Any and all donations are greatly appreciated and much needed. Thank You So Much !!!

There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony on June 1st at 9:30 AM.

7 Habits

Remember to put these things into actions each day. Soon they will become habits!

Habit 1 - Be proactive.  I choose my actions, attitudes, and moods.  I have a "can do" attitude. I follow directions and do the right thing even when nobody is watching.

Habit 2 - Begin with the end in mind.  I set goals.  I have a plan to achieve my goals.  I do things that are meaningful and make a difference.

Habit 3 - Put first things first.  I do the things I HAVE to do before I do the things I WANT to do.  Work before play.  I spend my time on the things that are most important.

Habit 4 - Think win-win.  I win, you win, we win.  Be kind to others.  Think of ways to make everyone be happy.

Habit 5 Seek first to understand, then to be understood.  Listen first and talk second. Try to understand the other person's point of view before sharing your own.

Habit 6 - Synergize Two heads are better than one.

Habit 7 - Sharpen the Saw.  Renew yourself physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually.
